Registration is open for our UMN Turfgrass Parks, Fields and Grounds Field Day! The field day will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Highlights include:
- Traffic tolerance of fine fescue and tall fescue
- Why it's important to understand user preferences in athletic fields
- Optimal tall fescue and Kentucky bluegrass mixtures
- Perennial ryegrass and fine fescue cultivar trials
- Species effects of dormant seeding
- Using soil moisture sensors to water more efficiently
- Lunch will be served immediately following the presentations - sponsored by Reinders, Inc. and UMN Extension
This event is free but registration is required by noon on Friday, June 23, 2023 if you would like to receive lunch. To register, please fill out this Google Form. Those that register will be emailed a reminder with instructions a day prior to the field day. Please note: if you have registered through the Minnesota Park and Sports Field Managers Association (MPSFMA) Field Day @ TROE Center, you do not need to register again.
